Zebra Brownies

There was a restaurant famous for these in Nebraska, actually they were famous for all their desserts. These were always a family favorite and I've had the recipe for many years. This calls for 9 eggs and no it is not a misprint !

I think this might be really good if I could get down the baking time/ strategy !! T 45 mins like recipe calls for the middle is still soupy but if I cook until it " sets the outside and bottoms seem dry and burnt. Im cooking in a 9x13 pan. Does anyone have any suggestions. Trying to make these for my mom who use to live in Omaha and eat them weekly! THANKS

The cream cheese mixture was too viscous and hard to swirl in. Once baked, it was also spongy and sticky (too many eggs?) Sorry, will not be making again.

Best brownies ever. The cream cheese batter is yummy thick. Don't be afraid to use some effort in swirling it in.

These are AWESOME!! I used to make them all the time and then lost the recipe. I am so happy to have it back. I'm from Omaha so when I make them everyone thinks I bought it from the restaurant. ;)

Oh my gosh! These brought back some good memories. I haven't been to Garden Cafe in probably 15 years, but my mom used to buy these for us all the time. Made these for my sister and I and we absolutely loved them! Thanks so much. I'll be making these for my mom when she comes into town this weekend, I know she'll love them as much as us!
