  • 1 cup water
  • 14 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 cups instant oats

directions

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Roll until 1/4 inch thick, you can cut into circles or squares.
  • Bake on cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  • Serve with "Honey Butter" mix margarine spread with honey. DELICIOUS!

  1. Kids and I found them way too salty! Texture was good, although I balled and squished them onto the cookie sheet rather than rolling and cutting them, and baked them about 3 minutes longer. The honey butter is a must mainly because of their saltiness. Will use only a teaspoon of salt next time. Hubby like them though, and loved the honey butter.
     
  2. These were pretty good! I added a little bit of cinnamon to give them a bit more flavor. They definitely need something to go with them, I used honey butter as was suggested and they were great!
