Ww Biscuits for Watching Your Weight

"I enjoy making biscuits on the weekend, but am reluctant to make them more often because of the high point value. With this recipe, I can make them anytime and not feel like I'm cheating on my diet."

  1. Although my dh was not overly fond of this recipe, I just loved these biscuits. Great recipe for those of us WW adicted to bread, Will be making these often. Thanks!

  2. This was a great and easy recipe! My hubby said all they needed was jelly. I didn't have any self-rising flour so I made my own (1/2 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 cup white flour 1/2 t salt 1 1/2 t baking powder = 1 cup self-rising flour) and I replaced the yogurt with light sour cream. These were tasty and just the right size. Like the rest, I divided this portion into two so they'd come out to 3.5 points each. I will keep making these!!

  3. THIS WAS AMAZING. I used wheat free flour, added about 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp xanthum gum. This was just lie the regular scones I used to have. I have never had biscuits before so didn't know what to expect. But I will definitly have this again. I had mine straight out of the oven with some no-sugar added strawberry jam. Thanks for posting. Miss Pixie x x x :D

  4. These were a great little biscuit to make up fast. I got two good size biscuits out of it, so it makes two servings for us instead of the one serving posted. Glad to know I can have two for myself though. lol. KEEPER!

  5. These were so nice and soft! I actually kinda mucked it up - I put in 1 1/2 tablespoons of yoghurt instead of teaspoons, and baked for 11 minutes in 6 portions, and they were still beautiful. Thankyou!

I live in a suburb of Oklahoma City, OK. I have two children, one son, one daughter. Both are married. My son has one daughter age 4 and two sons ages 2 and 10 mos. My daughter has one son who is 10 months. I enjoy rubber stamping, scrapbooking, gardening, sewing and my grandchildren. I enjoy snow skiing with my family when we can get away. If I had no responsibilities for a month, I would love to travel the country with no agenda. Just enjoy myself and relax.
