- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup earth balance butter
- 4 cups of peeled apples
directions
- 8x8x2 pan or 2qt baking dish.
- place rolled oats, flour sugar salt and cinnamon in large bowl and mix.
- add butter and blend well. arrange apple slices on top.

What a simple, tasty, healthy dessert. I love the crispy oats, and the way they contrasted with soft baked apples. There's only one tiny problem with your recipe. You forgot bake time and temperature. (No big deal, the best Zaar chefs sometimes forget steps in a recipe.) About 25 minutes at 375 seemed to do just fine for my oven.
