I made half of the recipe for my family and omitted the nuts. Because I am very good at burning cookies, I baked them at 275 F for 20 minutes, then lowered the heat at 250 F and baked them 10 more minutes. It sounds like quite a bit of time of being in the oven, but when I pulled them out, the cookies were lightly golden brown at the bottom, flaky and delicate. They are sweet because of the Nestle swirled holiday morsels. Everyone really enjoyed these cookies. Thank you for sharing.
