Reviews

  1. This was GOOD! We all really liked it and my daughter mentioned it definitely tasted like sweet n sour from a restaurant. I'll definitely be trying this again and trying the sauce with chicken. YUM!

  2. My mom, who does not like sauces on meat said, and I quote. 'You can make this any time.' Wow... I didn't change a thing and it tastes wonderful! You can use this for any sweet and sour dish you need. Thank you!

  3. These are the best! We were all licking our fingers while we ate these ribs. I'm also going to try this sauce on other things like chicken and pork chops. Thanks bikelap9 for posting this keeper. We will be making these often.

  4. Followed the recipe step by step and it was delicious! I made it tonight for dinner and my husband LOVED it. Definitely will be making this again.

  5. This is a true Sweet/Sour rib recipe! The adults loved it - the kids would have preferred a little sweeter more BBQ flavour (but honestly, it was sweet enough!) Thanks for a great recipe.

Tweaks

  1. Really easy and more texture than how I make it on the stovetop. Didn't have enough brown sugar but added crushed pineapple instead of the water. Hard to coat the meat but still very tasty! Thanks bikelap9

  2. My husband is uber-fussy, but when he tells you "Make this again, don't change it, don't mess with it, save any left-over sauce and freeze it!" you know it's good! I will admit to substituting pineapple juice for water, and lowering the white sugar content a little, but that's the only change I made, honest!
