Sister Karen and I created this recipe to honor our hardworking clinician and doctor sister, Susan, in Bloomington, Indiana, for Christmas 2014. We are 100% third generation Finnish-American and very proud of it! This recipe is built around Finlandia Grapefruit vodka. In keeping with the spirit of “grapefruit”, we incorporated freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and used a Bloomington-available liqueur with Finnish cardamom spice: Hum botanical spirit liqueur with hibiscus, ginger, cardamom, sugar cane and kaffir lime.
