Stuffed Chicken Rolls

  • Flatten chicken to 1/8 inch thickness.
  • Place ham and cheese on each breast.
  • Roll up and tuck in ends; secure with a toothpick.
  • Combine the flour, Parmesan cheese, sage, paprika and pepper; coat chicken on all sides.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • In a large skillet, brown chicken in oil over medium-high heat.
  • Transfer to a 5 quart slow cooker.
  • Combine soup and broth; pour over chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  • Remove toothpicks.

  1. First time making this and I love it! It was delicious. I used prosciutto and mozzarella cheese. Next time I will try cheddar cheese. 5 hours seemed to long and I will decrease that cooking time to 3 hours next time. I will use 2 cans of cream of chicken soup and 1 cup of chicken broth next time to make more gravy. I served the chicken over rice that I made with chicken stock. It was delicious. I will definitely make this again.
     
  2. This was very good! My only suggestion is to cook in only in the 4 hour range. I left it in for 5 hours and the chicken was a bit dry. Other than that- wonderful recipe and very simple. Thanks for posting!
     
  3. I saw this recipe posted and had to comment - I saw this recipe in the Taste of Home cookbook and made it. It was a BIG hit with my family. It is delicious!
