- 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
- 1 cup picante salsa or 1 cup favorite salsa
- 1⁄2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
- 1⁄2 cup sliced green onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- 1⁄2 tablespoon finely chopped fresh jalapeno (optional)
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
directions
- In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients.
- Cook until hot and bubbly.
- Serve warm or room temperature.
- Makes 2 to 3 cups.

I am 30 years old and the mother of a 10 year old and another 1yr. old. I have been cooking since I was 12 years old and I love creating stuff. My family and friends tease me alot when I tell them the ingredients that I use to get a certain flavor, but they still eat what I have prepared. I work part-time as a security officer. I don't have a favorite cookbook; however, I do enjoy the recipe's that I get in my Kraft magazine for the family. My greatest passion is helping others and doing the will of God.
