- 5 carrots, large
- 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
directions
- Peel and slice large carrots. Place carrots in a saucepan. Cover with water and cook until tender, about 8 minutes.
- Drain water off and put carrots back into warm pan. Add the margarine and cinnamon, toss to coat and dump into serving bowl.

We had hot sandwich's made with ham and cheese tonight and while I did have a potato salad these carrot sticks were the first to vanish. They have delicious flavor that I think was enhanced by using very small organic carrots that I just washed throughly and then cooked whole with out peeling them. Being a cinnamon addict there was never a doubt about this recipe being a true winner,
