  1. I hate to give a bad review but I will not make this again. Followed exactly and cooked for 6 hours on low in crockpot. Put on the serving platter and it was "MUSH". My family ate it because they were hungry but complained about it the whole time. If anyone tries this recipe watch cook time closely...this was my fault.

  2. Delicious easy recipe. Love the apples with the pork and the touch of cinnamon Mmm - I used Country style ribs, cut back a bit on the sugar (used Splenda brown) Served with stir fry snow peas and water chestnuts Lovely dinner Thanks for posting

My Grandmother died when I was 17. At age 40, I still miss her a great deal. She was an incredible woman and an amazing "southern" cook. The taste of her biscuits and gravy, rolls, poundcakes, fudge and Thanksgiving dinners are burned into the memory of my tastebuds. (No wonder I'm such a big girl!) In my adult life and now that I have a family of my own, I am striving to fill her shoes in the kitchen. Her son (my father) wouldn't mind it, either! :)
