  • Stir together to blend evenly.
  • Store in a tightly covered jar.
  • For a crumb coating on fish, meat or poultry, combine 1 1/2 TBSPS of seasoned flour with 1 cup of dry bread crumbs.

  1. I used this tonight for Chicken Fried Steak. I followed the recipe but didn't have the dry mustard and had to use celery seed instead of salt. We liked the flavor and it made enough that I now have a plastic container of it in the cupboard. Thank you!
     
  2. I was suprised that there was a recipe for this out there. I just always figured it was intuitive; that is, until I had to make it for something other than chicken! I didn't have everything in the recipe here, hence the no stars, but what I did have turned out pretty good. Can't wait to give it a try on some chicken next.
