Savory Spam Crescents

ingredients
- 10 slices bacon, cut in small pieces
- 1⁄4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 (12 ounce) can Spam, cubed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons dijon-style mustard
- 1⁄8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 (8 ounce) packages crescent roll dough
directions
- Heat oven to 375'F.
- In skillet, cook bacon and onion until bacon is crisp; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except crescent roll dough. Separate each package of crescent dough into 8 triangles.
- Spread top half of each triangle with SPAM mixture; roll up. Place on baking sheets. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

I was looking for a recipe to use up some spam I had. This recipe was ok. It was definitely edible, but nothing that I will make on a regular basis. It was interesting to try.

Hello! I am a student at UC Berkeley currently studying political science/economy and French. I am interested in the state of labor reform in Western European countries.
I love to travel...but with the weakening dollar I have had to make do with living in Berkeley for the time being...although it has not been bad at all! I am almost 100% converted to organic and environmentally friendly products...stop buying plastic bottles, bring your own bags to stores, reduce waste!
