- 1 (16 ounce) package frozen corn kernels
- 1 small white onion, chopped
- 1 large garlic clove, chopped
- 2 -4 large basil leaves, rough chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄4 cup water
- salt and pepper
directions
- soften onions and garlic in a sautee pan with butter.
- add frozen corn and 1/4 cup of water to pan and let simmer 4-5 minutes.
- add basil leaves and salt and pepper and cook 3 minutes more or until corn in soft.

I live in pittsburgh, pa with my husband our daughter and our two dogs. Now that DD is here, I try very hard to plan our dinner meals a week in advance thus requiring less thought from me at both the grocery store and when I'm standing in the kitchen at dinner time. Any tips on how to streamline this process would be greatly appriciated! I love to cook and bake especially around the holidays.
