  • Put in 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  • Top with topping mixture.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    I love this recipe! I didn't have regular potatoes on hand...so I used a bag of the ones with the peppers and onions mixed in. Also threw in some leftover bacon. Next time I will probably cut down on the amount of liquid, it did come out a little runny (but I don't think I thawed out the potatoes...so there ya go!)

    This recipe was also handed down by my grandmother. My family of 6 loves it. My grandmothers recipe called for a 1/4 cup of milk and to make the cornflake mixture with butter onto the potatoes the last 15 mins of baking time. Perfect every time.

    Very tasty side dish that can accompany any meat. I would omit the butter with the corn flakes and just put them on dry. The added butter made it too greasy!
