After I pour the brine over the okra and add the herbs, it says to process in boiling water for 5 minutes. Do i put the lid on the pint jar and submerge in water and boil for 5 minutes?

These are great! I am frantically searching the farmers market for more okra. Make sure to use only small, tender okra.

Great pickled okra. Those that don't care for okra might eat this. Will have to make a much larger quantity next time.

Tried just a couple of jars this past year. Wishing I would have made more. Will definitely be using this recipe next summer. Thanks so much for the recipe.

I couldn't wait long enough before sneaking a taste. I like these very much! Since I'm the only one that eats okra, this is perfect for me. I didn't have any dill seeds, so I wasn't able to add them. I will try them next time. Thank you very much! Now I won't have to buy pickled okra anymore.
