Peanut Chicken Burgers

"Searching for something better than a boring beef burger? This peanut chicken burger gives you all of the great flavors of pad thai in a juicy burger right from your grill. Great topped with an asian slaw, peanut dressing, or a sweet chili sauce. Recipe inspired by Rob Rainford. Prep time includes time for the burgers to rest."

  1. Yummy
  2. These were very good. Even my picky husband liked them. I will be making these again. but next time will use real tobasco...this time I used the sweet asian flavored one and it didn't have enough kick so we ended up adding hot sauce to the finished product. Great flavor!
  3. Yum! Loved this! Ended up eating the patties without the bun cause the flavor was so good I didn't want it to get lost with everything else. Used ground turkey and made on a stove top griddle. They would have fallen apart on my grill even though I refrigerated for several hours before cooking. Great recipe! Thanks for sharing! Made for PAC Fall 2008.
  4. Delicious, juicy burger as promised. I won't put sweet chili sauce on it next time as it covered up the flavor of peanuts, cilantro - well, most all the other flavors. The part of the burger hanging over the edge of the bun was terrific.

I’m a 20-something writer living with my wonderful husband of four years and our headstrong basenji pup in the Southeastern part of the US. We're expecting our first baby in Feb '09. DH and I love to travel. We barely get back from one trip before we’re planning the next one! Earlier this year we visited Australia and New Zealand and seriously thought about never coming home! We’re not sure where we’re headed next. Argentina is high on the list, But then again, so are Greece, South Africa, and Russia. So many places to experience, so little time—and money! I read and craft in my down-time. You’ll never find me without a book tucked away in my bag or one of my pockets and I’ve always got some kind of craft project going on. DH is a tennis player so we spend a lot of time out on the courts. Well, he’s out on the courts; I’m on the sidelines guarding the beer!
