- 2 cups sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 pinch salt
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1⁄2 cup peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups quick oats
directions
- Add sugar, butter, salt and milk in saucepan and bring to a rapid boil.
- Boil hard 1 minute stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper.
- Let cool and dry.

this recipe has really good flavor- but i'm not sure what I'm doing wrong... half the time I make it the texture and moisture is great, but the other half it comes out so dry. I boil the mixture for 1 minute everytime. I've had it come out too wet, and never setting up too- but only once or twice. I continue to make the recipe tho in persuit of the perfect peanut butter no-bakes since my BF just loves them... he'll eat them runny, dry or any other way! :)
