- 1 lb beef stew meat
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (1 ounce) package onion soup mix
- 1 1⁄4 cups water
- 4 potatoes, cubed
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
directions
- Brown meat in oil in skillet. Transfer to a 2 quart casserole.
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
- Bake for 2-1/2 hours at 350.
