    cup orange juice

    teaspoon orange peel, grated

    cup brown sugar (or use Spenda brown sugar blend)

    cup grits, quick-cooking and uncooked

DIRECTIONS

  • In a saucepan over medium heat bring water and orange juice to a boil.
  • Stir in grits, orange peel and salt into water/juice mixture. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook stirring for 3-5 minutes or until thickened.
  • Pour into serving dishes and sprinkle with brown sugar. Let stand until sugar melts.
