This was good, and I'd probably make this again, in a situation where I need rice to serve with a dish that has a sauce or gravy. I don't think this has enough flavor to stand on it's own, without a sauce, gravy, or meat over it. Thanks for posting this. Made for Pick a Chef Fall 2008.

OMG! This was soo good. I have never liked plain old white rice, but I found this recipe and it looked like it might be good. So I decided to try it. My husband loved it! I will be making this again. Thanks for posting.

This was delicious! Not far from regular rice, but I've never cooked it with garlic before. As I do with all my recipes, I doubled the amount of garlic, but everything else was left as the recipe dictated. The rice was all eaten before the lamb chops (which were SUPPOSED to be the main event!) My two year olds inhaled it, and complained when it was all gone.
