- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 cup long grain rice
directions
- Combine water, oil, salt and garlic in saucepan, and bring to a boil.
- Add rice, cover and cook for 20 minutes or until liquid absorbed.

This was delicious! Not far from regular rice, but I've never cooked it with garlic before. As I do with all my recipes, I doubled the amount of garlic, but everything else was left as the recipe dictated. The rice was all eaten before the lamb chops (which were SUPPOSED to be the main event!) My two year olds inhaled it, and complained when it was all gone.2Reply
