Mom's Double Decker Fudge - Peanut Butter & Chocolate

"Double layer fudge that Mom used to make. A layer of peanut butter fudge topped with a layer of chocolate fudge. Awesome!"

ingredients

• 3 cups sugar
• 3⁄4 cup butter
• 2⁄3 cup evaporated milk
• 6 ounces chocolate chips
• 7 ounces marshmallow cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1⁄2 cup peanut butter

directions

1. Stir 1 ½ cups sugar, 6 T of butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk in a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil while stirring constantly for 4 minutes over medium heat.
2. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and 1 cup of the marshmallow cream and ½ teaspoons vanilla. Spread in 9x13 pan.
3. Repeat with remaining 1 ½ cups sugar, 6 T of butter, and 1/3 cup evaporated milk and stir in peanut butter, marshmallow cream and ½ teaspoons of vanilla.
4. Spread over chocolate layer until set then cut into pieces.
