Microwave French Toast
- Ready In:
3 french toast slices
- Whisk milk, egg, vanilla, and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl.
- Soak 1 slice of bread in egg mixture, then flip it over and soak the other side. Soak for no more than 30 seconds.
- Place eggy bread on a microwavable plate, and microwave on High for one minute.
- Repeat with other slices of bread.
- Garnish with syrup.

I love how quick and easy this is! The first piece I followed the recipe. The second piece I soaked longer, and then the third even longer (to make them softer). I also tried the latter ones dredged in cocoa powder and sugar to give them a different flavor, and it tasted great that way. Next time I will try cutting the crusts off and see if it still works - since they never really got soft, even with the extra soak time of a few minutes per side.
