  • Heat maple syrup over medium heat until syrup reaches 236 degrees F. on a candy thermometer.
  • Lightly oil large mixing bowl.
  • Mix popcorn, nuts and syrup with lightly-oiled spoon.
  • When mixture cools, break off and eat.

  1. This is a very BAD recipe - BAD for my diet that is! I made this for my Daughter and I to have a girls night in watching a film. We loved it - but oh! the calories! Simple and tasty.
     
  2. This is good, you have to have a sweet tooth for this, it IS definately sweet, I used about 1-1/2 cups pecans in place of the walnuts, great treat Ms*Bindy, thanks for posting!...Kitten:)
     
  3. This will satisfy a craving for something sweet and crunchy. I salted my popcorn to balance out the sweetness. I made it just as written, using about 3/4 cup of walnut pieces. If you like caramel corn, try this! Thanx for posting this.
     
  4. Really good; really sweet! The kids liked it a lot! I used whole almonds instead of the walnuts. This might be better with a little butter, just to cut the sweetness a bit. I recommend seriously using some oil on that bowl-it's very sticky! Thanks for sharing!
