Cream Waffles

ingredients
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1 1⁄3 cups flour, sifted
- 4 tablespoons ice water
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- powdered sugar
directions
- Whip the cream until stiff. Fold in the flour, then the ice water. Chill 1 hour.
- Melt the butter and stir into the batter.
- Spoon a little batter into each section of a heated waffle iron and bake until brown.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve hot.

These made for a great morning treat especially since I love waffles!!! I made 1/2 of the recipe and used my kitchenaid do the whipping of the cream, so it was quick. I then followed the directions and folded in the flour and then the ice water and then into the fridge. After an hour I folded in the 1/4 cup of melted butter. These come out super crisp and my only problem is that they were very greasy!! I think next time I would cut the butter in half. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for PRMR tag game.Reply
