Mama's Italian Salad Dressing
"This is a very tasty Homemade Italian Salad Dressing. I don't know where my Mama got it, but I grew up loving it! I still make it for my Family and they ask for it on their salads!We like it for marinade also."

ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup vinegar
- 2⁄3 cup ketchup
- 1⁄2 lemon, juice of
- 1 onion (grated)
- 1 1⁄4 cups oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic (chopped fine)
- 1 sprig fresh parsley (chopped fine)
directions
- Put all ingredients into a jar and shake well.
- Chill.
- Enjoy!

I am giving this a all around 5 star. I was looking for a Italian dressing to use in a recipe for grilling chicken and came across this recipe. I halved the recipe to use as a marinade and added Beau Monde seasoning and I used alittle minced garlic. It turned out so delicious! We loved the flavor! I was alittle nervous being that it called for ketchup but it wouldn't be good without it. Thanks for sharing this great recipe.
