- 5 -6 red potatoes, cooked and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄2 cup red onion, chopped
- 3 -4 plum tomatoes, chopped
- 1⁄3 cup olive oil or 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 -4 fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 (5 3/4 ounce) jar stuffed olives, drained and halved
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- lettuce leaf
directions
- In a large bowl, combine the first 10 ingredients; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Serve salad in a lettuce-lined bowl if desired, or lettuce leaves can be placed on individual salad plates, and potato salad served on the lettuce leaves.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
