I made a big boo boo when making this, I read several times 1 Ice Cube... now I feel like a real dill. Anyhow.... definitely not icy enough as a result. I would make it again and review it properly but unfortunately I am starting a diet tomorrow which won't let me have the ice cream or the alcohol. So my review is based on the fact that I agree with appledapply that it wasn't quite chocolately and sweet enough for me. But I may have liked it a bit more and not minded the lack of sweetness if it was icy.... because the taste was fine... just like drinking a cold cup of slightly chocolately coffee and I couldn't taste the tia maria at all. But I am feeling it kick in right now... doesn't take much with me LOL! <b>Tagged Made and Reviewed for Comfort Cafe Jan 09'</b>

Who needs Star Bucks? I was making this for a late morning pick me up so I left out the Tia Maria and did cut the recipe in 1/2 for 1 serving. My 16 yo DS came home from school and saw me editing my photo for this and said you need to make that for me, but didn't have the coffee now so promised tomorrow I would save some of the coffee for him. This is delicious!!! Thanks Annacia!!!! Made for bevy tag!!!

Perfecto! Nice a frothy drink that I used for an afternoon pick me up. I did not use the Tia Maria. The vanilla is what I think really adds to this drink - nice overall flavor. I think I'll try it again tomorrow and use some almond extract in place of the vanilla for a nutty flavor too. Absolutely wonderful! Tagged in 1.2.3 Hit Wonders. Thanks Annacia for sharing!
