Chocolate Cooler

"This tastes just like a chocolate ice cream soda from the drugstore! It is my Mom’s favorite, and I remember her making them for us during our summer vacations. Since there were 5 of us kids, plus Mom, the 6 servings made one for each of us. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did!"

ingredients

• 1⁄4 cup chocolate syrup
• 1 cup milk
• 1 pint vanilla ice cream
• 3 (12 ounce) cans cream soda, chilled

directions

1. In a small bowl, combine milk and chocolate syrup. Divide into 6 glasses.
2. Divide half of the pint of ice cream into the 6 glasses.
3. Fill glasses with cream soda, stir until blended.
4. Top each with a scoop of remaining ice cream.
5. Serve immediately.
6. For one serving, use 3 Tablespoons milk, 2 teaspoons chocolate syrup, 2 scoops vanilla ice cream, and 6 oz. cream soda.
