"This is a recipe that I received from my mom, no idea where she got it from. This recipe is awesome, mix the ingredients, put it back in your ice cream bucket and just scoop from the freezer whenever you need a frosty treat!"

I have been cooking and baking since I can remember. I love to cook and bake, but I love to eat it even more!! I go absolutely nuts at Christmas time and bake anywhere from 30-45 items each year. I always bring about 4 large boxes up to our local organization that helps to feed the homeless in our area. I am far from an expert and am always looking for quick tips. I am a stay at home mom to two boys (and one large one, my DH) and am completely obsessed with reading recipes. I do not read "normal" books, I read cookbooks and recipes on the web. My favorite cookbooks are the local collaberation ones(like the good old church cookbooks). I LOVE trying new recipes. We rarely eat out, I have a hard time paying that much for something that I can usually find a recipe for on the web, plus after having worked in a few restaurants and seeing how they prepare food, can usually make it healthier, too.
