ingredients
- 1 lb butter
- 1 lb brown sugar
- 1 lb powdered sugar
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 gallon rum
directions
- Add all ingredients to rum.
- Heat on the stovetop.

Hint: Combine butter, sugers and spices (I use cinnamon,and nutmeg) and omit allspice, beat until light and fluffy, add softened ice cream stirring until well blended. Put mixture in freezer container and freeze. To serve, Place 3 tablespoons mixture and desired amount of rum in mug and fill with boiling water. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon stick. Then just sit and enjoy in front of the fireplace.
