Hot Buttered Rum

"I haven't actually tried this recipe so I don't know how many it serves, but it's definately designed for making this stuff in bulk, like for a Christmas party. I'd guess it serves maybe 40 or so."

  1. Hint: Combine butter, sugers and spices (I use cinnamon,and nutmeg) and omit allspice, beat until light and fluffy, add softened ice cream stirring until well blended. Put mixture in freezer container and freeze. To serve, Place 3 tablespoons mixture and desired amount of rum in mug and fill with boiling water. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon stick. Then just sit and enjoy in front of the fireplace.
