Honey Butter

"I received this recipe from a lady in a department store who was demonstrating bread mixers. It makes quite a bit, I will guess at how much, because I have really never thought about it. This recipe can easily be halved, but typically I make the whole thing and then shape into logs or sticks and place them in the freezer and pull out as needed. I will give prep time 15 minutes for shaping into logs for the freezer."

  1. It seems WAY too sweet. I would suggest cutting down the honey. The next time I try this, I will try it with 1/2 cup honey and add more as needed.

  2. I've made a lot of honey butter in my day and this one is absolutely the best. Who would have thought to add marshmallow creme? Thanks for the great recipe!

  3. This sounded interesting with the marshmallow cream. We had it on warm rolls fresh from the oven and oh it was heaven! Really like the idea of making it into logs too. Could really be fancy and stamp the slices with a butter press. Another great recipe! Thank you!
