Homemade Creamy Irish Cream

"My wife loves Baileys Irish Cream and we have gone to a ketogenic diet, so I wanted to quit having to run to the store for more Baileys and I wanted to see if I could improve on the flavor and texture of the famous Irish Cream. My wife believes this is creamier and a few friends that don't like Irish whiskey claim they love this. I've kept it in the refrigerator for a week or two with no problems so far. Rarely lasts that long. Enjoy!"

My wife calls me "Maso", which is approximately "Tom" in Italian. I love taking recipes and change them to make them full of flavor, easier and quicker to make, and healthier to eat. I've been eating a Mediterranean diet for a long time now, so many of my recipes lean that way. You'll typically find olives, olive oil, nuts and leaner meats in my recipes. I rarely use recipes for most of my cooking, but attempt to get it right when telling others how to make something.
