DIRECTIONS

  • Sauté onion and celery in butter in saucepan until tender.
  • Add peas, salt, pepper, marjoram, and water.
  • Cover tightly; cook just until peas are tender, about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • (This technique also works well with green beans or corn).
