- 150 g margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1⁄2 cup macadamia nuts
- 1⁄2 cup sliced almonds
- 1⁄2 cup dried cherries
- 1⁄4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1⁄4 cup sesame seeds
- 1⁄4 cup raisins
directions
- Cream butter (or sub) with sugar until light and smooth.
- Add egg (or sub) and vanilla; beat until smooth.
- Sift flour and baking powder into mix and stir lightly.
- Add in oats, macadamia nuts, almonds, cherries, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and raisins; mix until firm.
- Roll tablespoon sized amounts into balls and place on baking tray (they do grow).
- Flatten the balls with a fork (if fork sticks to cookies, dip fork in flour).
- Bake cookies for 25 minutes.
