  • Brown in Skillet: sausage, onions, mushrooms and Jalapeno pepper.
  • Drain off any fat and put mixture into a slow cooker.
  • Add: Rotel tomatoes, salsa, soup, and cheese.
  • Cook on low, stir occaisionally.
  • Cheese will melt into the mixture.
  • Serve with Tortilla Chips and/or fresh vegetables.

  1. This dip is great!! I had it at a party years ago and never got the recipe--just knew what some of the ingredients were. This make a huge amount which makes it great for a party. The only change I made was to add an extra lb. of sausage--we like it extra meaty. Thanks for posting this!!

<p>I was born and raised in Connecticut. I love the New England area, I think it is so pretty with the change of the seasons. <br /><br />I work for an ambulance company in their wheelchair division for non-emergency transportation. I work in the billing and customer service office. I love my job, the duties are so varied that you are always working on something different....no time for boredom. <br /><br />I am a mother to four, two sons and two daughters. <br />All have left the roost to start there own family. At last count, I was a granny to 6 boys and 2 little girls. <br /><br />I love Recipezaar and all the new daily postings. I see so much I want to try and continue to save them. I just don't have all the time to make all these recipes. I lost my husband in July 2006 and I am not the spring chicken anymore...pretty tired when I get home from work...so it's all quick, quick, quick, for me. <br /><br />I have tried a few....and have been pleased with my results and the new taste sensations. I am trying to initiate a goal of trying at least two new recipes a week.
