ingredients
- 1 chicory lettuce (medium size head)
- 1 small head leafy lettuce
- 1⁄2 lb swiss cheese, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons drained capers
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
- 1 -2 teaspoon sharp prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- salt and pepper
directions
- Wash and dry chicory and lettuce; tear into bite-sized pieces and refrigerate.
- When ready to serve, put greens in a salad bowl.
- Add cheese and capers; toss lightly.
- Combine remaining ingredients; pour over salad; toss. Serve at once.
