ingredients
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans French style green beans
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (8 ounce) can French-fried onions
directions
- Drain the beans thoroughly.
- Put one can of drained beans in a casserole dish.
- Add 1/2 of the soup and 1/2 of the onions on top of the beans.
- Repeat layers.
- Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

No exact amounts are given, so I could only guess... I first tried stirring in one can mushroom soup with 1 15 oz. can of grean beans. It looked too "soupy" so I added another 15 oz. can. Recipe does not say whether to drain the beans or not.... In retrospect, I do advise draining the beans! I merely guessed at the amount of onion rings. If I had added the entire 6 ounce can of onion rings, it would have been entirely too much. In the end, this is a super recipe to dress up green beans... The directions just need a bit of "tightening-up."
