"Tomato less sauce that can be used for any recipe that you would normally use tomatoes or tomato sauce, pizza sauce, pasta, soups and stews. Great for those needing to restrict acidic or nightshade foods. Freezes well."

• Yields: 1 Qt
• Serves: 4

ingredients

• 6 carrots
• 1 beet
• 1 onion
• 3 celery ribs
• bay leaf
• 1 1⁄2 cups water

directions

1. Dice everything and cook in crockpot overnight on high.
2. Mash or puree to desired texture.
3. Add water or cook longer depending on your recipe to get desired consistency.
