  • Put egg(s) in pot, fill with water until eggs are submerged by at least 1 inch of water.
  • Take egg(s) out of pot and set aside.
  • Boil water.
  • Put egg(s) in boiling water.
  • Boil 3-5 minutes for a soft boiled egg.
  • Boil 6-7 minutes for medium boiled egg.
  • Boil 8 or more for harder boiled egg (suggest to not exceed 12 minutes).
  • Put eggs in an ice bath for at least 15 minutes.
  • Alternately, for even easier peel, skip step 6 and chill eggs overnight in a refrigerator.

  1. In my experience, sticky whites have less to do with boiling time than with the freshness of the eggs.
