ingredients
- 4 tablespoons margarine
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup or (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, to taste
directions
- Melt margarine in pan.
- Add flour and stir until slightly lighter than peanut butter in color.
- Pour in broth and whisk.
- Add soup and stir.
- add Worcestershire to taste.
- Can be seasoned depending on what you are serving it with.

Worked perfectly in a pinch for my cornbread chicken dressing. I used what I had: Cream of chicken with herbs, only used 10oz water, added a dash of Herbs de Provence, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper. It was so good that I saved it into my “holiday recipes” and will absolutely use it again and again! Thank you!

I would've rated this Recipe higher, but I am a Kidney Patient that Cannot have a lot of salt &. It. Was Too Salty For My Taste·Buds, so I added more flour and just plane Water [{&}] totally Eliminated the Worcestershire Sauce, so that made it Perfect for me...??Thanks For Posting This Recipe; It's Very Flavorful.
