ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, pressed
- 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (14 -15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 4 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 3 -4 cups cooked macaroni
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
directions
- Brown ground beef. When it is about half done press garlic into pan and add onion.
- cook till ground beef is done onions should be clear drain grease.
- While cooking ground beef cook macaroni acording to box. Drain macaroni.
- Add diced tomatos and tomato sauce Stir.
- Add chilli powder and cumin Stir.
- Add macaroni Stir.
- Add salt. Season to taste. Stir.
- Serve and top with chedder cheese makes.

Ugh...I guess you really have to think through how hot your chili powder is, and consider that before you make this. I enjoy a little kick, but 4 tbs of chili powder is just too much for the amount of other ingredients if yours is on the hot side. Ended up adding more sauce to 'fix' it (sometimes I just don't want to sweat through each meal)...now its a soupy mess. And no beans? Chili without beans? The only can I have on hand is in hot sauce, can't add that! Sorry I was too hungry and looking for something to make fast with on hand ingredients, I should have read reviews first.
