  • Place one ready-made pie crust in a pie pan.
  • Pour in pie filling.
  • Using remaining pie crust, cut holly-leaf shapes (or any shape you prefer) and decorate pie edge.
  • Mix together beaten egg with water, brush on decorations.
  • Bake at 425-degrees for 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

  2. Great quick recipe. I do make my own pie crusts (Crisco posted here). I sprinkled the top with sanding sugar after the egg wash and bake time was longer. Hubby was a happy camper!

  3. I used the pillsbury pie crust I love that one :) I didn't shape it cuz I didn't want to mess it up..
     
  4. I love making pies this way! They always turn out perfect every time!! :) So glad they finally started rolling up those pie crust sheets instead of folding them!!
