I made this for PAC 2006. It's a delicious dressing, Janeydoe! I added a tiny bit more sugar, that's all. I might consider sprinkling more walnuts over the salad when I use this dressing -- love nuts! For those who might prefer a pale salad dressing, the balsamic vinegar might possibly be substituted with apple cider vinegar -- certainly not with a cheap white vinegar. I also think the flavour will get even better if the dressing is kept for a day.
