- 1 cup buttermilk
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons minced onions
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried dill weed
directions
- Combine ingredients and mix well.
- Refrigerate 1 hour or longer to blend flavors.

Made as written for ZWT6, this dressing is an ingredient-friendly easy-fix & has the advantage of being very low-calorie & non-fat. It's very authentic for the regional cuisine as is, but we found it a bit bland. The addition of salt & pepper (to taste) + even a little sugar better suited our taste pref. Served over a bibb lettuce salad w/various adds & despite care taken to wash & *dry* the lettuce, the dressing was also more watery than we prefer. Others may well see it perfect as is & some will see it as an excellent foundation that is easily modified to suit pers pref. Thx for sharing your recipe w/us.Reply
