Deb's Italian Noodle Casserole

"My sister gave this recipe to me and it is wonderful. I usually cook a big meal for our family around the holidays and this was the recipe I chose last year. It feeds a crowd and everyone loved it. Throw in a salad and a loaf of garlic bread and you've got a fantastic meal. This is NOT a diet meal! :o) NEW NOTE: In an effort to get the fat OUT of some of my fav recipes, I made this today with all light ingredients and with whole grain egg noodles. It was fantastic! We didn't miss the fat at all!"

  1. I made this last night for my coworkers and they all said it was delicious. "when are you going to make this again" was the comment I kept hearing. :)

  2. I was running late (again - 4 kids do that to you). I didn't bother with the layers, mixed it all together and topped with cheese and baked. Tastes similar to a lasagna with out all the fuss and everyone loved it. Left overs re-heat beautifully. Thanks for posting

  3. Love this recipe. Have made it for years especially when I needed to take a meal to a friend. I usually play around with the spices (Italian and such); I love flavor. You can substitute spaghetti sauce for the tomato sauce if you want. This is a keeper!
