  • Preheat oven to 325º.
  • Grease and flour bundt pan.
  • Combine butter and shortening in mixer bowl.
  • Add eggs and blend well.
  • Add other ingredients.
  • Beat on medium speed for 10 minutes.
  • Pour into pan.
  • Bake 70 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool in pan 10 minutes.

  1. Tried this yesterday, very pleased. Searched for crunchy pound cake using almond and vanilla. This is very crunchy, has a good almond flavor, and all ingredients are usually in my kitchen. Was a little concerned it didn't call for baking powder, was pleasantly surprised at the outcome. Baked 80 mins. and added a touch more vanilla and almond. Will list as a favorite.
