OMG, 10 stars if I could. These were so great. I made a few changes. I halfed the recipe, used almond extract instead of vanilla. And I sprinkles some sliced almonds on top halfway through baking. They were amazing! I couldnt wait for them to cool, so I ate them still warm. The sugar crust on top is the best. I wonder if there will be any left when DH comes home from work?

Love to travel. Once ate a large mouthful of butter while in Paris (I thought it was soft cheese)! My napkin was about 3" square. The server there had full eye contact with me at the time... my most humbling moment.</p>
