Cowboy Crunchies

"I got this recipe from my sister in law and these are so yummy and gooey and good!! I am not sure where she got the recipe but thought I would share it with all of you. Whenever we have a family function she always brings these and we all run to get some because they don't last long! These do go in a 9x13 but I sometimes put them in a 8 1/2x11 to make them a tad thicker and gooeyer but the choice is yours, if you do use a 8 1/2 x 11 be sure to add a few minutes to the cooking time to make sure they are done in the middle.. You will love these! These would be a great treat for the hunters to come back home to, or the kids home from school. Please note * you can use whatever nuts your family likes or leave them out it is your choice.*"

  1. Very good. Made them yesterday morning - with pecans - in a 9 x 13 pan and they got the MEP family seal of approval. I'm sure they won't be around long. Thanks!

  2. These are certainly easy to make and quite tasty. I had five boys in my house yesterday and they wre gobbled up. They are very thick in a 9 x 13 pan. I think I will make them in a larger pan next time (I know I am weird). I left out the nuts because of all the kids. Thanks. Made for PAC Fall 2008.
