Cocoa Raisin Cuffins

"I grew up with cuffins - lighter than a muffin and heavier than a cupcake. Tasty too!"

ingredients

• 1⁄4 cup butter
• 1⁄4 cup cocoa
• 3⁄4 cup unsweetened applesauce
• 1 1⁄4 cups flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 3⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1 egg
• 1⁄2 cup raisins

directions

1. Blend butter and cocoa.
2. Add applesauce.
3. Combine dry ingredients and add cocoa/butter mixture, egg and raisins.
4. Bake in greased muffin tins at 350 for 20 minutes.
